Established 2007
Founded in 2007 by Dr. Rajiv Bhusan, the Soft Skills Club at NIT Jamshedpur was created to help students master essential communication skills through innovative training programs.

Debate
Sharpen your argumentation skills in our structured debates where participants present opposing views on current topics. Each speaker gets 3 minutes to present their case, followed by rebuttals and open discussion.
Lecturette
Test your impromptu speaking abilities with our lecturette sessions. You'll receive a topic and have just 30 seconds to prepare before delivering a 3-minute informative talk.
PPT Presentation
Showcase your research and presentation skills through our PowerPoint competitions. Participants create and deliver professional presentations on assigned topics.
Story Narration
Unleash your creativity in our story narration events where participants craft and deliver compelling stories based on prompts or pictures.
Personal Interviews
Prepare for real-world scenarios with our mock interview sessions. Receive feedback on your communication skills, body language, and responses to challenging questions.
Writing
Express yourself through our writing competitions featuring various formats including essays, short stories, poetry, and technical writing.
Group Discussions
Develop your teamwork and leadership skills in our structured group discussions where participants debate topics and work toward consensus.
PPDT
Picture Perception and Discussion Test challenges participants to create stories from ambiguous images and then discuss them as a group.

Test your knowledge across various domains in our quiz competitions featuring rapid-fire rounds, buzzer rounds, and visual rounds.
